Entertainers gathered in Beijing to record a song entitled "Sichuan Retains Its Beauty" on Wednesday to commemorate the two-year anniversary of the deadly Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan Province, Sina.com.cn reports.

Present were singers and actors from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, including Chen Ming, He Jie, Wang Rong, Louis Fan and the band Dick and Cowboy.

Other stars, including Sun Nan, Alan Tam, Hacken Lee, Eric Moo and Richie Jen, contributed their voices to another version that was released earlier.

The song was written by Hong Kong composer Jin Peida as part of a campaign that will also release a star-studded music video aiming to showcase Chinese people's tenacity in the face of natural disasters.
