Two large concerts featuring dozens of singing sensations since the 1980s will be held in Taipei next month to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the local record label, Rock Records.

It was announced at a press conference on Tuesday, October 12 that seven musicians and one band will lead a host of musicians. They are: Wu Chuchu, Kay Huang, Wakin Chau, Bobby Chen, Wu Bai, Chang Chen-Yue, Richie Ren, and Mayday.
More than 50 artists have signed up for the event. Fans can expect the concert to last four hours each night on November 27 and 28 at the Taipei Arena.
Rock Records is one of the largest independent labels in Asia. The label has released nearly 2,000 records since it was established in 1980, and has helped produce a long list of Mandopop and Cantopop superstars, including Beyond, Leslie Cheung, Sandy Lam, Lo Ta-Yu and Karen Mok.
