China's top earning writer

Yang Hongying takes first place on the 2010 list of the top earning Chinese writers published today with a yearly income of 25 million yuan. Second is Guo Jingming with 23 million yuan and Zheng Yuanjie with 19.5 million yuan comes in third, the Chengdu Business Daily reports. British writer J.K.Rowling, author of "Harry Potter," is the top-earning foreign writer in China with a yearly income of 95.5 million yuan based on only her sales in China.
