"The Kidnapped" premiered at the Jackie Chan - Yaolai International Cinema in Beijing on December 27.

Qu Ying, Wu Gang and Liu Lei, the main actors in the film attended the fans' gathering after the premiere.

"The Kidnapped" centers on two young women named Nana and Lin Bingqi who aspire to become famous singers. Nana becomes an overnight superstar after sleeping with her boss. As Lin Bingqi looks very much like Nana, the agent, gangster leader and the investor want to take advantage of the girl. The film reflects on some showbiz industry scandals in recent years.

The film features Hong Kong actor, Chapman To, Taiwan actor, Sun Xing, and mainland actress, Ye Yiqian.

The film is to open nationwide in cinemas on December 31.
