Four heroes of 'White Vengeance' unveiled

Director Daniel Lee's latest historical epic movie "White Vengeance" ("Hongmen Yan") has released its first collection of still photos featuring actors Zhang Hanyu, Anthony Wong, Jordan Chan and Andy On, Sina.com.cn reports.

The film recalls the banquet of Hongmen, a well-known event in 206 B.C. where warring general Xiang Yu was motivated to assassinate his rival Liu Bang.

Zhang Hanyu plays Liu Bang's strategist Zhang Liang, and Anthony Wong plays strategist Fan Zeng who assists Xiang Yu. As two famous brainpowers at the end of Qin dynasty, the characters launch a battle of wits at the banquet.

Jordan Chan plays the valiant general Fan Kuai who saves Liu Bang at the banquet. Young actor Andy On plays Han Xin who uses the famous strategy of "ambush from all sides" and forces Xiang Yu to commit suicide at the Wujiang River.

The movie is expected to wrap up shooting in early July. It will hit Chinese screens at the end of November.
