Chinese Design Exhibition titled VOGUE Fashion's Night Out kicked off in Shanghai on Aug 29, 2011.
Driven by excellence in Chinese design, the exhibition has added a new fashion appeal to the century-old Huaihai Road in Shanghai.
As the opening event for Shanghai Shopping Festival and "Huaihai Tiandi Fashion Month", Vogue magazine joined hands with Committee of Huai Hai Road, Shanghai Huaihai Commercial Group, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and cutting-edge Chinese fashion designers to show a strong rise of Chinese designers and to promote development of fashion industry in Shanghai as well as across China.
Designers invited to the exhibition include Uma Wang, Qiu Hao, Ji Cheng and others.
The exhibition is open to the public and runs from Aug 30 to Sept 11 at the Shanghai Xintiandi Mall.
The opening of the exhibition also marks the start of this year's VOGUE Fashion's Night Out.
