The promotional poster and trailer for the soon to be released comedy feature film "A Big Deal", a co-production from Le Vision Pictures, Beijing Radio Television Media Co. Ltd. and New Film Association, were unveiled at a grand press conference on October 10, in Beijing, Chinesefilms.cn reports.

Female director Ma Liwen, alongside cast members Lan Zhenglong, Chapman To and Tong Yao, appeared on stage dressed in Arabic robes.

Two of the movie's leads, Kimi Qiao from the mainland and A-list actress Han Chae Young from South Korea, were both absent from the event. The film will be Han's debut role in Chinese cinema.

"A Big Deal" tells the story of three brothers (portrayed by Lan Zheng Long, Chapman To and Kimi Qiao), who are set to embark on a deal in Dubai worth 2 billion US dollars.

Ma Liwen revealed that shooting took place in three cities, across three different countries, including Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Beijing in China and Seoul in South Korea.

Very few filmmakers have had the chance to film in Dubai due to its conservative attitude towards a number of strict taboos. "A Big Deal" is the third film to complete shooting there, following "Sex and City 2" and "Mission: Impossible 4".

When asked what she would do if she had 2 billion dollars, Ma Liwen said, "Money is not the most important thing. What's more important is a person's ambition, their wishes and their happiness. Why did we choose to film in such a far-away place as Dubai? We hope that audiences will discover new and spectacular things; something fresh and different. Basically, we hope that movie viewers will be able to laugh from the bottom of their hearts."

The film is set to hit big screens in November this year, during the New Year holiday slot.
