Directed by Kaige Chen, the film "Searching"(Sou Suo) is due to start filming, as cast members, including Chen Yao, Yuanyuan Gao, Mark Chao and Hong Chen, arrived in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, the shoot location, according to a report from tom.com.

Adapted from the novel "Please Forgive Me", "Searching" tells the tale of an insane human flesh search triggered by a girl who fails to give up her seat on a bus.

In the movie, Chen Yao plays a female reporter at a television station, who is determined to get to the bottom of every piece of news. With the role being a brand new challenge for Chen Yao, she tried to gain a feel for the profession of journalism by attending real interviews, and even consulted microblogs as to how journalists dress themselves.

It is reported that a popular Japanese stylist will be in charge of the character modeling, and though the story takes place over the course of just eight days, more than forty costumes are being prepared for the character played by Chen Yao. The cast completed costume fitting in Beijing recently.
