Chinese singer Tan Jing is due to perform at London's Royal Albert Hall alongside Swedish pianist Robert Wells.

The pair will co-perform several musical compositions themed on the city of Beijing, to show a new image of the Chinese metropolis.

Tan says it's a great honor to sing at the Royal Hall and introduce Chinese culture to European people.

"I am greatly honored to be invited to perform in the Royal Hall. Actually I didn't intend to hold a concert because I had little time to prepare. But performing at the Royal Hall is a dream for artists. As a singer, it's also my biggest wish to perform at the Royal Hall, just like athletes longing to go to the Olympics."

She is hoping it will bring Chinese and European people together.

Tan Jing and Robert Wells first worked together on the song 'Sky' for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Their latest collaboration, to be unveiled at the Royal Albert Hall on November 28th, is a romantic piece.
