Chinese celebrity writer Han Han has countered comments by IT expert Mai Tian that his blog articles were not his own.

Han is offering a cash reward of 20-million yuan, or more than 3 million US dollars, to those who can prove the articles were written by others.

IT commentator Mai who is the former general manager of Baidu's social network division, claimed the image of Han as a public intellectual was made-up and packaged by his father Han Renjun and well-known publisher Lu Jinbo.

Mai's claim is supported by some self-collected evidences.

Han Han who is a best-selling novelist and wildly popular blogger, was named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine in 2010.
