'Let the Bullets Fly' and 'Dragon Gate' top HKFA's shortlist

The organizing committee of the 31st Hong Kong Film Awards (HKFA) announced its nomination list during a press conference, February 8th. The award-winning film "Let the Bullets Fly" and Tsui Hark's "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate 3D" run in the frontline with 13 nominations between them, ent.163.com reports.
After these two films, Sui Fai Mak and Felix Chong's Hong Kong crime thriller "Overheard 2" gained 9 nominations. Director Ann Hui obtained 8 nominations for her feature film "A Simple Life". Johnny To's film "Life without Principles" also got 8 nominations.
Zhang Yimou's epic war blockbuster "The Flowers of War" is expected to compete for the Best Chinese Language Award against "You are the Apple of my Eye," "If You Are the One 2," "Starry Starry Night" and "Seediq Bale."
The award ceremony will be held at the Hong Kong Culture Center on April 15th.
