Veteran supermodel Christie Brinkley returned to the runway for the "Red Dress Collection" fashion show.

The event aims to draw attention to women's heart health by putting celebrity catwalkers in a parade of red gowns by some of America's most famous designers.

Country music star Jennifer Nettles also hit the catwalk in a red gown for the event.

She says it was her first time modelling and was just glad she got through it without falling.

The fall/winter Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week continues until next Thurday.
