The 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival opened on Wednesday night.

The 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival opened on Wednesday night. Cast and crew from the opening movie, "Love in the Buff", including director Pang Hong-cheung, Miriam Yeung and Shawn Yue, attended the ceremony, Sina Entertainment reports.

Miriam Yeung, who is expecting her first baby, is also an ambassador for the festival. She said she was very happy to be able to reunite with the production team of the movie and hoped that it would have a third installment next year.

"Love in the Buff" is a sequel to the 2010 movie "Love in a Puff", a romantic story set in Hong Kong. Director Pang Ho-cheung continues his black comedy style with this installment of the series.

The 16-day 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival will showcase 283 movies from 50 countries and regions, including Wang Xiaoshuai's "11 Flowers" and "A Dangerous Method".
