Veteran artists Su Shishu from Beijing and Liu Yi from Taiwan are holding a group show at Gallery of the Auditorium for the National People's Political Consultative Conference.

On show are more than 100 of their latest calligraphy works, as well as their inscriptions on top-quality imitations of ancient ink works, such as the Preface to the Orchid Pavilion and the Scroll of the Upper River during the Qingming Festival, reproduced by the Rong Bao Zhai Art Studio in Beijing.

At the opening of the exhibition on March 27, the two artists donated 3 million yuan ($475,467) to representatives from the Truku tribes in Wenlan village, Sioulin township of Hualien county in the eastern part of Taiwan, for the construction, furnishing and equipment of a library for primary school students.
