The film screening section of the 2nd Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) will showcase 260 movies from all over the world in 20 appointed cinemas in Beijing, Chinesefilms.cn reports.
The films will include Oscar winners such as "The Artist," "A Separation" and "The Descendants."
The complete list announced by the organizing committee covers many different movie genres in order to provide diversity for Chinese audiences.
The Italian feature film "We Have A Pope," Dutch feature film "Black Butterflies," Norwegian crime thriller "Headhunters" and Japanese romance "Eternal First Love" also will be screened. None of the films to be shown have been released on the mainland.
Ticket prices for the movies will be much lower than those of regular commercial features, although specific prices have not yet been announced.
