Oscar winning director Steven Soderbergh is releasing his latest film "Magic Mike."

Starring Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello, "Magic Mike" examines the world of male stripping and the lives of the people involved.

Manganiello famous for playing werewolf Alcide in HBO series "True Blood" says he only agreed to do the movie because of the people involved.

"I don't do a male stripper movie unless someone like Steven Soderbergh is directing it. It's just not going to happen. I throw that thing in the trash but the fact that he's doing it, Channing's involved (Matthew) McConaughey's involved, the script was as good as it was, the cast rounded out into what it was - it was just a no brainer."

"Magic Mike" opens in US cinemas on Friday.
