Co-directed by Liang Yueming and Sunny Luk, the gangster film "Cold War" is scheduled to be released in mainland cinemas during the National Day holiday, Mtime.com reports.

The film's production company today released a collection of still photos featuring the film's two award-winning actors—Aaron Kwok and Tony Leung—as two deputy police commissioners who quarrel with each other. "Cold War" marks the first collaboration between Kwok and Leung.

"Tony Leung is an excellent actor, Kwok said. "After this film, we both hope to continue playing different roles with each other in some projects."

"Cold War" also stars Andy Lau, Aarif Lee and Eddie Peng.
