S. Korean Film Festival to open in Beijing

The 2012 South Korean Film Festival, co-hosted by The State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Republic of Korea, will kick off on August 29 in Beijing, Mtime.com reports.

12 films will be screened for moviegoers in Beijing, including Lee Chang-dong's suspense feature "Secret Sunshine". Han Ga-in's latest romance "Architecture" will open at the event. Other movies include "Il Mare", "A Moment to Remember", "Failan" and "Empty Houses".

The list was voted upon by Chinese audiences, and the festival will run from August 20 to September 16 in Beijing, Shanghai, Changchun and Shenyang.

Some of the stars will appear in China to promote the festival.
