Rock The Web winner Uta will release her single "Original Painting" after returning from Hollywood at the end of this month. The song's English and Chinese version will be released at the same time.

The Guangdong singer is working with Michael Jackson and Madonna's vocal coach Seth Riggs, Avril Lavigne and Britney Spears' producing team The Matrix. Famous photographer Christopher Doyle will direct the music video for the single.

Uta began her vocal training with Seth Riggs soon after arriving in Los Angeles on October 14, 2012. Uta is the 82-year-old coach's first Chinese-spoken female student. JJ Lin and Leehom Wang are his only Chinese-spoken male students. Riggs praised Uta's voice as recognizable and full of strength.

The Matrix member Scott Spock said the song is "a very nice mixture of the western elements and the Chinese elements" and is "going to be a nice little experiment and journey to work the song into its final form".
