Yao Chen, the A-list Chinese actress and one of the most followed microbloggers in the world, got married with award-winning cinematographer Cao Yu in New Zealand on Nov 17.

Yao Chen is a very popular actress in China, starring in various films and TV series such as "My Own Swordsman." Her Weibo microblog counts over 20 million followers, earning her the nickname " Queen of the Micobloggers".

Yao was married to actor Ling Xiaosu upon her graduation from Beijing Film Academy, but the couple divorced in early 2011, unexpectedly ending their seven-year-long marriage.
