Mtime.com reports Monday that the sequel to the horror film "Bunshinsaba" is filming in Beijing now after a year of preparation.

South Korean director Byung-ki An directed a Chinese remake of the 2004 South Korean film (also called "Bunshinsaba") in 2012. He released the movie during the 2nd Beijing International Film Festival in April last year. At the meantime, he launched his studio in China.

The production company has kept a low profile on the making of the movie. An official on the production side said the sequel will be much better than the first one.

"Bunshinsaba" tells about a single mother try to finish her new novel in a remote villa. But a series of mysterious events happen after she and her 7-year-old son arrive there.

The exact storyline of the sequel remains a secret but the production side showed strong confidence by announcing that the movie will be released in August.
