An international fashion week opened Monday in Russia's Far East city of Vladivostok, which for the first time became the center of the Asia-Pacific region's beauty industry.

The Pacific Style Week will bring together famous fashion designers, stylists, experts, hairdressers, photographers and models from around the world in Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service.

The program of the fashion week includes a contest for super models of the region, an international competition of hairdressers, stylists and makeup artists, and a contest for photographers.

The international event will also hold a presentation of new collections by famous Russian designers and master classes by the world's leading fashion and style experts.
