Owl City to generate electronica wave in China

Owl City's Adam Young



American electronica artist Adam Young, who performs under the name Owl City, will hold two shows in Beijing and Shanghai in August.

The shows are part of Owl City's world tour promoting his latest album, "The Midsummer Station".

Released in August 2012, the album debuted at number 7 on the U.S. Billboard 200.

Owl City wrote and produced the song "When Can I See You Again?" for Disney's animated movie "Wreck-it Ralph". He also worked with singer Yuna on the song "Shine Your Way", which features on the soundtrack for the DreamWorks' animation, "The Croods".

Owl City will perform both songs during his shows in China.
