Plot of the Film:

Lin Xi (Jaycee Fong) is fed up with life in Shanghai's underbelly. A final gang fight sends him looking for better prospects elsewhere, with best friend Jianshu (Wang Taili) in tow. After putting enough distance between themselves and Shanghai's chaos, the two wind up at the Yangtze River Hotel. The tranquility of the area is in stark contrast to the city they once called home, and the two have their first taste of the carefree life. The fun continues when they meet a local named Wang Chao. They visit Wang Chao's school to check out the ladies and wind up accidentally taking part in a performance art show. However, the goofy antics from that day bring back painful memories for Lin Xi, as he recalls a former classmate of his who committed suicide over a failed relationship. Memories of Shanghai start to plague Lin Xi as he and his friends drift aimlessly around this peaceful town. Running away from Shanghai didn't solve any problems, it just presented new ones, and the three look for a way out of feeling lost. Will the three roam forever adrift through life, or has the way out been right under their feet this whole time?
