Chinese singer-songwriter, Sun Dou-er, formerly known as Sun Jiahuan who stood out from "The Voice of China" contest last year, has disclosed he will release another five-song EP at the end of this year.

In an exclusive interview with CRIENGLISH.com on Monday, Sun Dou-er said the EP will include an upbeat, J-pop style track, a love song and a piece fusing traditional and modern music. The singer said that this new release will have a more avant-garde feel to it than "The Love Story," which came out this past August.

His first release so far, "The Love Story," was composed of five songs with three of them Sun produced entirely on his own.

The singer plans to promote both his EPs later during his college-campus tour around China.

Meanwhile, Sun Dou-er said he always hoped to become a music therapist someday, helping people relieve the stresses that come with living in a bustling metropolis. He still holds onto this aspiration, saying that it's a meaningful endeavor that can put a smile on a once-unhappy face.
