Sir Paul McCartney has postponed the first seven of his US tour dates as he continues to recover from a virus he contracted last month.
The former Beatle, who turns 72 next week, said he was feeling great but had cancelled the shows on medical advice. The shows which were set to start from June 14 in Texas have been rescheduled to October. His next gig now is scheduled for Albany on July 5.
Earlier he had cancelled the Japanese leg of his Out There tour as well as one show in South Korea.
