The Chinese romantic drama, "But Always" is heading to North America for a same day-and-date release as its openings on the Mainland and Hong Kong.

The film will hit select screens in Canada and the U.S. on September 5th, while rolling out in Australia and New Zealand on September 4th.

Director Snow Zou's latest outing, starring actor Nicholas Tse and actress Gao Yuanyuan, was picked up by Hong Kong-based China Lion Releasing, which specializes in simultaneous international release dates for Chinese-language films.

"But Always" tells the story of two lovers that are always running into each other in different locations, but whom fate seems to always keep apart.

Among the notable Chinese-language features China Lion has handled include recent summer hit "The Breakup Guru" and crime thriller "That Demon Within," which came out earlier this year.
