Chinese pop diva Faye Wong has released her newest song, the theme for director Zhao Baogang's big-screen debut, "One Step Away."

The song, which shares its name with the movie title, sees Wong once again teaming up with award-winning lyricist Lin Xi and renowned record producer Zhang Yadong.

Cranking out hits since the late 1990s, the trio has come to be known as the "golden triangle" among the Chinese music scene.

The song is Faye Wong's first vocal release since her divorce last year from her ex-husband--actor Li Yapeng.

"One Step Away" comes to mainland theaters on September 19.
