Sam Smith leads MOBO winners

British singer Sam Smith cleaned up at this year's Mobo awards in the UK.

The 22-year-old collected four awards at the at the event in London, he won Best Album for his debut record 'In The Lonely Hour', Best Male, Best R'n'B/Soul Act and Best Song for 'Stay With Me'.

When accepting the award for Best Male, Smith gave thanks to Jimmy Napes and Tourist who co-wrote "Stay With Me."

"Thank you all, thank you again. In my last one I forgot to thank Jimmy Napes and Tourist, who wrote 'Stay With Me', so thank you for writing that song with me. I just want to dedicate this one to all my fans who are very new into my life. Thank you I love you all so, so much."

He picked up the award at Wembley Arena, just hours after being honored at the Q Awards.

British singer Jessie J picked up the award for Best Female.

The Mobo Awards returned to London after being outside of the British capital for 19 years.
