'Unbearable Lightness of Inspector Fan' premieres

The film Unbearable Lightness of Inspector Fan, which stars Golden Horse Best Actor Ethan Ruan, has recently premiered in Beijing.

The premier's audience members were young students from Peking and Tsinghua universities.
22-year old Wang Ziyu among them.
"The film features a lot of young fresh elements, which are both novel and close to our life. On the other hand, a sense of humor is easily spotted in the dialog , which is of great interest me."
The Unbearable Lightness of Inspector Fan, set in old Shanghai during the Republic of China era, is said to be designed only for students who major in art.
Part of the reason is that a novel written by Yu Dafu, a famous modern Chinese short story writer, titled Chen Lun or "Degradation" in English, is frequently mentioned in police inspector Fan's dialogue with others.
This romantic, comedy film will be released in cinemas across the Chinese mainland on January 16 or this coming Friday.
