Pei Jinmei is President of Today Art Group Corporation.

"We hope to establish cooperation with the high-end international art museums like Pompidou Centre to develop art and its Derivatives Market together. This way, the Today Art Museum is expected to extend its industry chain as well as enhance its taste to an international standard."

With Pompidou Centre as its partner, the Today Art Group will explore a new growth market created by China's growing appetite for classical art.

At a press briefing held recently in Beijing, Pei Jinmei also revealed that both sides will hold frequent high-level meetings and share their information and resources from 2015.

The Pompidou Centre will also assist the Beijing-based art museum to train professionals who work in the local art industry.

Situated at the heart of Paris, the Pompidou Centre is home to the largest modern and contemporary art collection in Europe.
