Chinese actress Li Bingbing may be well known in China but she's only just started to be recognizable to American audiences.

Her role in Transformers 4: Age of Extinction has helped her name become more recognizable overseas but the star says she doesn't feel like she needs to go to Hollywood since China is taking over the box office market.
"There's a shift in the global movie box office. China is a huge box office market. The world is changing and a lot of things are leaning towards this part of the world. If you're looking for more money then you have to go to China. It doesn't matter if we go or they come to us, for sure you will see more collaborations in the future. "
Li Bingbing is currently at Cannes Film Festival as part of her duty as ambassador for L'Oreal.
