Harry Potter

The Harry Potter series of seven fantasy novels by British author J. K. Rowling was published between 1997 and 2007. Harry Potter chronicles the adventures of the titular character, a young wizard named, Harry Potter, and his friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. According to statistics given in 2014, Harry Potter is one of the greatest-ever publishing successes, with more than 450 million copies sold around the world and distributed in more than 200 territories. The series has been turned into eight blockbuster films.
