New reports are suggesting Ben Affleck is in talks to produce a movie based on the FIFA scandal.

Warner Brothers is reportedly optioning a script based on the book "Houses of Deceit."

The book is still being written by Kin Bensinger, who is a writer for US news site BuzzFeed.

"Houses of Deceit" details the allegations laid out by former FIFA executive Chuck Blazer, as well as his role in the scandal currently gripping football's governing body.

Affleck is reportedly going to be working with Matt Damon on the film.

The film, if reports are true, would likely be a more critical contrast to "United Passions", a film bankrolled by FIFA.

"United Passions" has been widely panned by critics and audiences alike.

It took in an embarrassing 918 US dollars on its opening weekend.
