"Only You," supervised by veteran filmmaker Feng and directed by Zhang, is a remake of the 1994 Hollywood movie with the same name. The original film starred Robert Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomei. The Chinese remake tells the story of a woman who believes in fortune-telling in her young age and goes to Italy to find her destined lover just before her wedding. The film's investor, Huayi Brothers Media Corp, purchased the copyright for the adaptation from Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Tang said she fell in love with her husband, South Korean director Kim Tae-yong, in the same "fated" way as the script described.

"The reason why I accepted to play the role in the film was because there was fortune-teller story that really happened to me," she said. Before her marriage, her parents both asked fortune tellers in different places to predict her future life. "After my wedding, I came across the notes from the fortune-tellers, and I was surprised to find out they were completely right about all the past events. It was really destiny!"

Tang also said she thought she was very brave to marry a foreigner. "After all, we have only been married for one year. No matter what cultural differences and other trivial matters will come up between us in the future, I have a long way to go."
