The first short film of David Beckham entitled 'Outlaw' will make a global release today, marking the former football superstar's acting debut.

However, the 40-year-old superstar denies this as an attempt to set foot in acting.

"It was fun. You know it wasn't me going to launching a new career. I'm not going to launch a new career being an actor. This was just something that I'm very honor to be part of, very honor to be working with some of the people that I haven't been worked with before."

According to British Vogue, this short film features the story of a motorcycle stuntman "haunted by memories of a beautiful Trapeze Artist", and chased by a crazy director looking for revenge.

"Outlaws" marks the collaboration between Beckham and the British fashion brand Belstaff.

The short film made its premier at the brand's London Fashion Week show on September 21st.
