Johnny Depp teamed up with Benedict Cumberbatch and attended the London premier of 'Black Mass' on Sunday, as part of the BFI London Film Festival.
Putting on weight to match his charecter's physicality, Johnny Depp says he freaked out a few of the role's former "associates", with his portrayal of the organized crime boss Bulger in real-life mobster tale "Black Mass."
Taking a day off from playing Hamlet on stage, Benedict Cumberbatch join the premiere, saying the biggest challenge for his performance in the film was learning to speak with a Boston accent.
"Hard, hard. It was one of the most nerve-wracking things about doing the film. But one of the reasons I wanted to do it. You know I like to do things that are outside my comfort zone a little bit and that's a fair whack outside of it.
Directed by Scott Cooper, 'Black Mass' is scheduled to hit big screens in UK on November 27th.
