Crystal Liu, Yang Yang paired in a fantasy romance

Alibaba Pictures has kicked off the shooting of fantasy romance "Ten III. Peach".

The movie was adapted from popular online novel "Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms" by Tang Qi in 2008, which has sold more than 11 million copies.

24-year-old actor Yang Yang will take the lead role, together with actress Liu Yifei.

The film follows a couple's love and hate in three lives in three different worlds.

The film will be co-directed by Zhao Xiaoding and Hollywood veteran Anthony LaMolinara.

LaMolinara won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for Spider-Man 2.
