Good news for "High School Musical" fans.

The stars of the popular franchise are reuniting for a 10th-anniversary tribute to the TV movie.

Actors Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman will share memories of the movie in a television special that will be aired Wednesday on Disney Channel.

However, Zac Efron, who played Troy, opposite Hudgens' Gabriella, couldn't attend the pre-taped group reunion because it conflicted with the promotion of his latest movie.

The star has recorded an interview that will be included in the broadcast.

When the original movie debuted on January 20, 2006, it scored a total of 7.7 million viewers in the U.S., the highest ratings for any Disney Channel telecast at that time.

The film's soundtrack was the best-selling album in the US in 2006.
