Actress Tang Wei announces pregnancy

Chinese actress Tang Wei announced today that she and her husband, South Korean director Kim Tae-yong, are expecting their first baby.

On her WeChat Moments (similar to Facebook's timeline), Tang posted, "Dear friends, Tae-yong and I would like to share with you our happiness for expecting a lovely baby who is expected to be born in the Year of the Monkey."

The couple, who met while filming the English language movie "Late Autumn" (2010) together, married in August 2014 after dating for more than a year.

Tang Wei, 36, became an international star after appearing in Ang Lee's film "Lust Caution" in 2007.
