'My New Sassy Girl' to hit Chinese theaters in April

The cast and crew of Chinese-South Korean co-produced romantic comedy "My New Sassy Girl" has met with media in Beijing to promote the new film.

A sequel to the 2001 hit "My Sassy Girl", the movie follows main character Gyun-woo's love story with his first love in primary school.

South Korean actor Cha Tae Hyun returns to reprise his role as Gyun-woo, which made him a household name.

And Chinese actress and singer Song Qian portrays his new sassy girl.

Song Qian is better known as Victoria and she's the leader of South Korea idol group "f(x)".

"My New Sassy Girl" is schedule to release in China and South Korea on April 22.
