Angela Wang Shiling stars in new film project

Seven-year old Angela Wang Shiling, daughter of Chinese television host Li Xiang and director Wang Yuelun, has again become the center of attention, following the release of a trailer for the upcoming film Girl of The Big House.

In this comedy film, Bao Bei Dang Jia in Chinese (宝贝当家), Wang Shiling plays a young girl from a rich family and leads her fellow friends to fight a child trafficking gang with wisdom and tactics.

Francis NG(吴镇宇)and Miriam Yeung (杨千嬅) also co-star in this film, produced by Director Jing Wong. The film is scheduled for release on July 29th.

Earlier, Wang Shiling also co-starred with award-winning Hong Kong actor Nick Cheung Ka-fai in The Man from Macau II. That film, which was released last year, was also directed by Jing Wong.

Thanks to her celebrated parents, Wang has obtained a host of chances for exposure both in film projects and TV reality shows like 'Where Are We Going, Dad?', which has made her widely known as a young child star in China.
