People magazine has named Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson as its sexiest man of the year.

The wrestler turned actor was crowned during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where he said he can easily and gladly take over from last year's winner David Beckham.
"I think the transition's going to be easy, yes. I can't tell you now that what this means is that I have to drive in my pick-up truck and change Jasmine's diapers but I'm still now the sexiest man alive."
Despite his tough guy image, Johnson revealed his softer side by lending his voice to Disney's animation Moana and showed off his singing skills at the premiere.
Johnson voiced the demi-god Maui who helps a teenager to prove herself a master way-finder.
Moana opens in US cinemas next week.
