Sotheby's Hong Kong presented Thursday an oil painting named "Wheels: Industrial New York" from Chinese-American artist Yun Gee, with the estimated price of up to 120 million HK dollars (about 15 million U.S. dollars) in its autumn sale, 2017.

Being over two meters tall, the painting is not only Yun Gee's largest work, but also the creation in response to the invitation to the reopening show of New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in 1932, making Yun Gee the first Chinese artist to exhibit at MoMA, according to Sotheby's Hong Kong.

The painting reflected America's rapid industrialization and modernization since World War I, Vinci Chang, Sotheby's head of Modern Asian Art, told a press conference, adding the work is appearing on the market for the very first time since its creation 85 years ago.

Sotheby's Hong Kong's autumn sale for 2017 will be held from Sept. 29 to Oct. 3.
