Editor's note: This week's events include a dance drama based on the epic construction of a railway in Tibet, a classical Chinese violin concerto, as well as a tribute to one of China's greatest rock bands. Here are the three events you won't want to miss.

1,Dance drama "The Railway to Tibet"

The dance drama "The Railway to Tibet" tells a touching story that took place between the railway construction workers and Tibetan people in the late 1970s, reflecting hope and belief, life and death, home and dreams, and love and strength.

Dates: Aug. 27 - 29 

Venue: National Center for the Performing Arts, Beijing

2, Concerto for piano and violin: "The Butterfly Lovers"

The Chinese piano and violin concerto "The Butterfly Lovers" expresses the pursuit of love with soft and touching classic melodies. The music is intended to allow the audience to appreciate the profound highs and lows of love.

Dates: Aug. 25

Venue: Musicfans Art Space, Sanlitun, Beijing

3, A tribute to iconic rock band

Beyond, founded in 1983 in Hong Kong, was one of the greatest rock bands in China. With an aim to beyond rockers themselves, the band created original songs that portrayed the reality of the time. Their most famous songs include "Glorious Years," "Fight for Dream," "Truly Love You," "Amani" and "Great Land."

In this concert, 630 Orchestra, who have toured more than 50 times nationwide, will pass on the spirit of Beyond with a musical tribute.

Venue: Tango Club, Dongcheng district, Beijing
