1. Concert marks Double Ninth Festival
The Double Ninth Festival, also known as Chongyang Festival, celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth month on the Chinese lunar calendar, falls on Oct. 14 this year. China Broadcasting Traditional Orchestra will put on a special performance to mark the festival, which is an occasion to care for and send blessings to the elderly throughout China.

2. Yang Xianrang solo exhibition
Yang Xianrang, a veteran Chinese contemporary artist, will display more than 160 works, including woodcuts, paintings, sketches, oil paintings, and documents reflecting his achievements in folk art at the National Art Museum of China. The event brings together a comprehensive retrospective of his artistic life. During the exhibition, Yang will also donate 30 representative works to the museum.

3. 'Again, Just Again,' an exhibition by John Armleder
John Armleder is a Swiss performance artist, painter, sculptor, critic, and curator. Apart from his representative works, this exhibition will also showcase the artist's most recent works and those specially created for the Rockbund Art Museum in Shanghai, spanning Armleder's paintings, on-site creations, paper paintings, wall paintings, and literature.
