Editor's note: An Olympic-themed concert by China's top orchestra, a stage play showing the twists and turns of old Beijing antique dealers, and a Wiener Waltz new year concert — here are three events you won't want to miss this week.

1, Olympic-themed concert by Beijing Chinese Orchestra

Performed by the Beijing Chinese Orchestra, "A Journey of Ice and Snow" is a musical feast aiming to showcase the dual Olympic city's warmth and elegance, symbolizing friendship, peace, and unity of the whole world. Famous segments will include Chinese concerto "Thoughts on the Great Wall," French classical music "Sailing" and the Austrian classical "Serenade," among others.

Date: 19:30, Feb. 12

Venue: National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing 

2, Drama 'The Antiques'

Produced by Beijing People's Art Theatre, "The Antiques" was premiered in 1997, winning great success. The drama tells the story of Beijing's antique dealers upholding their conscience and national integrity at the turn of the 20th century.

Dates: Feb. 12-27

Venue: Capital Theater, Beijing

3, 'Wiener Waltzes'

Comprising of Johann Strauss I's "Radetzky Marsch," Johann Strauss II's "The Blue Danube," and other well-known melodies, this concert will create the festival atmosphere of the Chinese Lunar New Year.
