Japanese student Kure Tatsumi believes that humanity's priceless cultural heritage dwells within a mystical civilization of divine animals and Yokai (supernatural creatures, spirits and demons found in Japanese folklore). Her work delves into the potential of branching into a fantastical universe by merging the monster realm with the environment, bodily organs, and spirits. Combining these unconventional themes with traditional forms of communication, she crafts a new storytelling world inhabited by mythological creatures. Professor Gu Liming supervised the artworks.
