Microsoft China adds new officer

Microsoft Corp announced yesterday that Eugenio Beaufrand will join Microsoft China in the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer.

 

A seasoned, 23-year veteran of Microsoft, with deep experience in both developed and emerging markets, Beaufrand most recently held the position of Vice President, Microsoft Latin America. Beaufrand will report to Yaqin Zhang, corporate vice president and acting CEO for Microsoft China. Beaufrand is strong in customer satisfaction, corporate citizenship, government relationship and education, Microsoft said in a statement.
