AVIC I's revenue surpasses 100b yuan
Adjust font size:

The annual revenue of China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I), a leading state-owned airline designer and manufacturer, exceeded 100 billion yuan (13.77 billion U.S. dollars) for the first time in 2007, up 24 percent year on year, sources with the company told Xinhua on Monday.

The company's profit topped five billion yuan in 2007.

Last year, AVIC unveiled its multi-function third-generation military aircraft, with China's own intellectual property rights. By the end of the year, the company had orders for 100 ARJ21-700 aircraft.

The Xinzhou 60 aircraft, manufactured by the AVIC I, has domestic and foreign orders for 116 aircraft to date.
